Little Gray Ava Dress (Ruched Sundress)

You may remember the little ruched sundress from here, I certainly haven’t been able to forget it! So I had to make another one! Actually, this one was a team effort–my mom started it and I offered to finish it. This time there’s no bottom band, but the little girls on the gray fabric are so cute that it didn’t make sense to add a bold pink band.

This time was really fun because I didn’t spend any time looking at instructions, I just started sewing. And I loved it. I’ll have to do some repeat sewing on patterns more often! I can’t wait for Sunday when I get the girls ready for church and they have some fun dresses to wear!

Since it’s fall and a bit chilly, I can see this ruched sundress being really cute with a long-sleeved tee underneath.

I don’t know about you, but after a couple of days of photos, my kids just won’t even participate in trying on clothes and taking photos. But this obliging clothesline did a pretty good job of showing the Ava Dress in a positive light.
