So I’m not super big into Halloween–it just isn’t my holiday, but since my little ones are getting a bit bigger, I’m going to have to give in and get into the holiday.
So I’ve been looking a bit at Halloween costume ideas, and here are a couple that I’ve pinned to my Pinterest boards (come follow me!) that are intriguing for the girls. (All photos are linked to the source except the one of my sister.)
This little flapper costume is divine. I love that it’s fancy, glamourous, and that it’s not hard to wear. I’d possibly even do this one…and that’s saying a lot.
Here’s another flapper version that’s really simple but fun. Mostly I like the headband and the glitz of this one.
And what little girl wouldn’t feel beautiful in these impressive monarch wings? I can see these being a big hit all year round. It would also be easy to put on long sleeves and black pants and stay in character (because Idaho is cold).
I really like flamingos. Saige does too. And I like that this one is simple to create and that she could wear a hat on a cold night.
This last one is actually my sister and brother-in-law. Isn’t it a great couple’s outfit? If I were to do this for the girls, I’d put them in little burlap sacks with “Idaho Potatoes” on the front and little brown leggings and boots. I think it would be funny and cute given our new location. And they’ve updated their costume to include a little spud (my nephew)…so cute!
I also love peacock costumes. How great is this one with big impressive plumes and the sequin mask.
And this one is classic. I used to work with Christy, and all her Halloween costumes were impressive.
