Today’s guest post is Krista from While He Was Napping. Krista is such a sweetheart, and I love how she’s always coming up with ideas to keep her marriage happy, her kids entertained, and her sanity by crafting along the way. And today she’s got a great idea for keeping older siblings happy when new baby arrives–with a Big Brother Kit!
Krista is also a rock star–she had her baby on Tuesday (three weeks early), and still got her guest post done! I’m seriously impressed. And now she can just snuggle that cute baby boy!
So let’s check out a few of Krista’s awesome posts. I love the idea of a date night jar with everything already planned out. I’m such a procrastinator and horrible at getting things organized for dates that this would be fabulous for me. All the guesswork is already done!
And how cute is this Jeans to Lace Skirt Upcycle? Totally feminine and cute and a good way to save that favorite pair of jeans that has a hole in the knee!
And since Easter is coming up, how about this cute Yarn Easter Egg Wreath. I love how bright and colorful it is.
And while she has an abundance of date night, kids’ activities, and crafts, Krista is also practical and prepared. Today she’s sharing a “Big Brother” kit for her older kids when baby comes (came!). Can I just say how awesome this idea is? I remember my mom doing something for the siblings when she had a new baby–probably as much for her sanity as for us. 🙂
So go check out everything she put in the kit over at While He Was Napping and congratulate her on her early surprise!
