18 DIY Kitchen Towels

18 DIY Kitchen Towels | Mabey She Made It |

I love a good kitchen towel, and they’re so fun and easy to make personal to go with your decor. So when Hometalk asked if I’d like to curate a board of DIY crafty kitchen towels, I said yes! I love that these towels range from stenciling, sewing, transfers, applique, and other amazing ideas to keep your towels looking like they were made for your home–because they were!

And kitchen towels make a darling gift idea. You can whip up towels for all your neighbors and give them with a wooden spoon and a favorite recipe for something thoughtful, useful, and festive. Several years ago, we received a gift like this, and every year when I pull out the Christmas towel I think of our dear neighbors (who are no longer neighbors) and remember the impact they had on our lives. And this is just one of the many things you could do with your DIY towels.

Whether you’re looking for something to match your decor or something to change out for all your favorite holidays, you’re sure to find one of these ideas that would be just what you’re looking for. And you’ll find tutorials for all of these projects so you really can get crafty and make your kitchen towels with ease. There are some pretty great techniques used in this board!

Welcome to Mabey She Made It, my cozy corner dedicated to all things homemade and delightful. One of the greatest things I learned while growing up was to know what “home” felt like. Creating feels like home to me, and I’m at home when an idea translates into something beautiful or functional.
