DIY Cotton Print Burp Cloths by The Crafted Sparrow

Welcome back to day two of the Nesting to Newborns series! Did you check out yesterday’s Peasant Dress & Bloomers and Natty Janes?

Nesting to Newborns Series | Mabey She Made It #baby #newbornToday we’re welcoming Rebecca from The Crafted Sparrow. If you’ve never been over there, now’s your big chance! Rebecca has some amazing crafts and jewelry that would have everyone clambering to buy one. I love her style and her photography. Here are a few of my favorite posts you’l have to check out:

Coffee Filter Peonies (aren’t they so fresh and pretty! I want these in my living room)

Polymer Clay Feather Necklace (loving the feathers and the color combo here)

Simple Turquoise Necklaces (so pretty and easy to wear!)

Today Rebecca made a special project just for us, and it’s something every new mother needs–burp cloths! Both of my girls have had some pretty bad reflux, so I go through a LOT of burp cloths every day and I mean SOAKED burp cloths. I’m planning ahead for Miss Mabey though, and I won’t be caught without a few clean ones with this fabulous tutorial.

Welcome to Mabey She Made It, my cozy corner dedicated to all things homemade and delightful. One of the greatest things I learned while growing up was to know what “home” felt like. Creating feels like home to me, and I’m at home when an idea translates into something beautiful or functional.
